It was wonderful hearing from other Gremlin owners

Hello,
What got me started on writing about my Gremlin was a article in Parade magazine on Sunday they ask you to write about a car that you loved or would have liked, in 100 words or less of course there is no way that you could describe that wonderful car in 100 words or less. They are paying 100 dollars for the best description of a car it has to be in by July 15, 2002 I gave up on it but I am having a lot of fun meeting a lot of people that have owned Gremlins and still do. 
One time I was driving down Interstate 5 in Northern California and the highway was empty so I naturally hauled out doing 95 for some time. When I looked in my rear view mirror a Highway Patrol man had his red flashing lights on and I pulled over to the shoulder. "He said you must have had a tail wind because I clocked you at 95." I BSd my way out of getting a ticket for going that fast. He only gave me a ticket for going 70 only five miles over the speed limit. It was a good thing because my husband would have killed me for getting a ticket which would have cost hundreds of dollars. He was mad enough that I got any ticket. I had some wonderful experiences with my Gremlin. Than you for responding to my email. Have a nice Day
