Groups Links I am not interested in the ralley pack gauges. I plan on mounting a tac in the clock position in the dash. This car is a late 74, I can tell subtle differences between it and my yellow one which is a late 73 production version of a 74. Also the yellow one was built in Canada and the orange one was built in the USA. I can also see subtle differences in quality in each car. Being a 74 there is no wireing for any type of factory gauge set, Ralley or Pod style. I like the pod and if the car was wired for it I would see about hooking it up as is. The only non electrical thing I would have to add is a hose for the vacume gauge. All this being said since no matter what gauges I use I will have to completely wire them up so I will use the pod, make a new face plate ad add an Autometer voltmeter, oil pressure, Water temp and Vacume gauge. With the Tac I got last week included in the box was a complete Autometer catalog of all their gauges. I used their gauges im my other car and was very satisfied with them and all the hardware/sending units for installation they came with. "Doc"
