Re: Baby Steps

The tree was about 2-3" in diameter. We had to cut it and pull it
free from the back bumper/body space. A couple of other trees had
also grown up around it and they had to be removed so we could drag
it out! We hitched the Gremlin via chain (3 points - like a triangle)
to the back of a tractor. Since it wouldn't roll, we gently pulled on
it. As it was resting on leaves and pine straw, it started to slide,
so we kept pulling it. We left it in an open area for better
examination and access. Another note: it was bound for the crusher,
having a big white "X" on its windshield! So I guess I came along at
the right time to save another great AMC product. Unfortunately, I
was too late for the Amabassador - it had been removed and met its
demise before I could shout "stop"!!!!! Could have used that engine!
