Re: [AMC-list] DR78-14 tire - what's it worth?

Ken your right. Its not a tire anymore. Its a display piece. Its just like
having a NOS grille or rear Wing on a gremlin. Someone that doesnt care about
originality and aperance would say its worth 20 bucks or less. What ?$1200 for a
grill? Ill put on a Hornet grill for 200.00 instead! But for that person that
wants an original car thats perfect in every way, that tire is GOLD. It's all
about how many are available. Search the net and see if you can find 4 for sale?
Bet ya cant. wheres someone gonna get one for their show car?

I would say its worth well over 100 to the right person.
Ultimatly, its as my Father always said, " its worth as much as someone is
willing to pay for it"

It's been sitting in the spare tire well all it's life so there's no sun damage.
Still, I wouldn't want to drive it far or fast either.
Any driving on it wrecks it's originality. The whole idea is to not drive on it.
