[AMC-list] Tom - Weber 32/36 DGEV Jeep Kit for 196OHV

Tom,

      I was reading your site about installing the Weber 32/36 DGEV
Jeep Kit on your 196OHV. If I go that route - is it the K551 Jeep Kit
I'm looking for? Do I need to modify the intake plate for the Jeep
Kit? Right now I have the one barrel Holley 1909 and the one barrel
intake plate. Your pictures also showed raising the height of the
throttle linkage by 2 inches - do I need to raise it at the firewall,
or maybe just use a 2" spacer where the throttle linkage attaches to
the intake plate (but that might be kinda seriously weird doing that).

      Any other notes or gotchas? And if I want to keep my original
air cleaner - do you think that would work with the 32/36 DGEV? Or
should i go a different route? (I'm thinking about the line that runs
from the road tube to the air cleaner in the stock '65 196OHV).
