Specifically it's a 72-79 232 crank, which means Chrysler auto trans. Stroke will be the same as early models, difference is in rod length. Crank will interchange with the early one regardless of block. The Chrysler auto crank should take an early manual flywheel, but of course won't work with a BW auto.

Found a web reference to the crank casting numbers and I have a 4722 crank so it's a 232
after all.
