On the non-OD trannys the adapter is the tailshaft housing. Check the length first, then check for fit. I have a suspicion that you're out of luck even if the adapter does fit. The T-14 main case is probably longer than the T-96. Of course if it's only say an inch longer (or less), it won't hurt to push the axle back that much. If it's any more than an inch longer there would likely be problems with the panhard rod and clearances.

It just occurred to me... I have an old T14 (open driveline),
plus a T96, OD, with TT adapter... this weekedn I'll see if the
overall length is right, and if that adapter might fit the T14..

Are all the TT adapters the same?
