1. check the shift linkage first. Does it move far enough? Easy way to check is to put it in Park, then go under the car and disconnect the shift rod. See if you can push the lever any further to the front. If you can, see if you can move the car afterwards or if it locked into park. Do chock the wheels before climbing under the car, or use the park brake!! 

2. If that doesn't work, you have an internal problem. There is a toggle and shaft that locks into a "gear" inside the transmission. It's possible that the toggle is broke or the the shaft has worked out. Go to http://www.amccf.com/, click on "Tech Info", then scroll down to "_M-10 / M-11 / M-12 Parking Lock & Manual Control <http://amccf.laatikko.org/tech/AT/AT_M-1X_parking_lock%2Bmanual.jpg>_ (from '67-'72 Parts Manual)". The M-35 parking lock is about the same. You should be able to see it after dropping the trans oil pan. It's near where the shift arm goes in.

Transmission M-35.
 
When I stop the vehicle and put it into park, the vehicle keeps moving.
It seems that the tranny doesn't lock.
Does anyone knows what can be the problem that it don't want to lock in Park?
