" I don't think I've actually pulled a T-86 trans, just the T-96 and T-89.
" Sounds like the T-86 is closer to the T-96 pattern, which I believe is
" just a little wider than tall. T-86 may have a pattern of it's own
" though.
they're very close but not the same. the t-96 is something like
6.25"w * 5.125"h; the t-86 is 6"w * 5.75"h and shares the top two
holes with the t10 and iirc t89.
the '68-'74 t15 has the same nose as the t86 and t10, and -jeep- t14s
do also though -car- t14s have the t96 nose and pattern.
" I found that the SR-4 even shares the top two bolt holes with a
" T-96, so the top holes seem to be about the same on all of them -- you
" can only go so far into the floor!
i'm boggled... advance adapters says the ford-pattern sr4/t4/t5 is
7.92" across the top, 6.32" across the bottom, and 6.27"h.
