Jay,

That spacer is not in the carb kit (it will have the accelerator pump, 
bowl gasket, float valve, vent cover, base and thermostat gaskets, and a 
couple clips). You can probably glue it back together with JB Weld but 
handle it with kid gloves since they are fragile. Worst case would be 
you take the pieces and a small piece of aluminum plate to a machine 
shop and have one whittled for you. Also, you'll need another base 
gasket. Some places list two. The correct one is FelPro 60044.

Also, pick up a gallon bucket of Gunk carb cleaner. If you remove the 
throttle shaft (I'd take the choke shaft out also), you can get the 
entire carb in it to soak. Make sure you pay close attention to the 
throttle shaft and the bore it goes into after they are cleaned. This is 
a common wear area and you'll never get the car running properly if they 
are worn. If they are worn, you can have brass bushings made (dad and I 
made a set to fix a lawn mower once -- they wanter $80 for a new carb 
body, they're easy to make up as long as you have a drill press and lathe).
