On my 69 this ground wire mounts to the firewall just above the master over towards the drivers fender slightly. When I installed the Wrangler EFI on mine I used the 10 qauge wire in it's harness to make a complete copper ground circuit from this point to the engine block and battery grounds giving the car a full copper ground circuit. steel is good conductor , copper is better!
