I'm sorry you had such trouble , and that these forums have to be used to
used for such things,rather then just happy chatting. I never dealt with
the 
man so can't comment directly other then to say the whole beverly hillbilly
lingo seemed to contrived. If he can work a computer and the internet, he
can spell. I deal with plenty of "Rural folk " for parts and at shows, some
may speak that like this, none type like this .

deny his lie -- but compounds it.

The hillbilly-speak, "awe shucks" shit-kickin' demeanor as you said should 
have been warning enough.

I'm trying to fix this car for my son -- before his time but he's always 
wanted one.
I have no reason to waste your time.
There is only one here who wants to take your money.
