JOHN...NOT trying to argue. BUT i worked at a FORD dealership for 15 years, staring wayyyy back in the 1970's. . WE replaced ALOT of filler necks on the Pintos. Recall by FORD. All you had to do was uinstall a LONGER neck that went deeper into the tank. Did ANYONE ever saee how BADLY the poor PINTO was smashed by the truck???? The girls would have died anyway.
