Good to hear Doc, too mant times people take stuff for granted, not 
realizing the time and effort spent to make life possibly easier for someone 
down the line. So many times a simple thank you works great, whether opening 
a door for a lady, or letting someone pass you on highway, or giving a 
bigger tip to waiter/waitress, or simply complimenting someone on how they 
look. Even AMC related, there are things that are said, done not only here 
but amxfiles that people hopefully use and might make their restoration 
easier, or drive better, or ET quicker, it is all good......

Paige  kids doing fine, had to take her to hospital last week for minor 
surgery, hell she walked out of there, and was waiting for me on Fannin in 
the Med Center downtown as I drove up, spent the afternoon in 96 degree heat 
with kids at Hermann Park, boy it was so so hot you could see steam rising 
slowly off the ponds where the ducks were. Who in the hell thought about 
building a metropolis in a swamp they shuold be flogged.

Thanks for the kind words Eddie about my restoration tips. Being a
mechanic (I also worked at an AMC dealer briefly in the early 70's) and
I also ran a body shop and am a model car builder for over 45 years
gives me an incite on restoration and detailing. I will have to say that
this orange Hornet has been a real challenge to me both mechanically and
cosmetically. There are a lot of things I have done on this car that
were firsts for me and I learned from doing. We all learn somthing new
every day. I have learned a lot too from people on this group. Out of
all the car and model car groups I belong to this is one of the top
groups. You are the second person this week Eddie that complimented me.
I got an E-Mail from a total stranger from the AMX files also saying
nice things about my posts. How's Paige and the kids?
