I think those Randall Gremlins got in the low 13s or even 12s if they could hook and not break. In my experience a big cam did not run as good as a smaller cam. Depends if you want off the line grunt or half way down more power. I would think you would have a good chance to reach 13 or 12s with a 401. Davis kicks butt with a 360 in a gremlin I thought. Matching the parts combo is the best way to get a good street car. You will do fine, listening to these guys.SCOTT

Can that be done by leaving the heads alone and knocking down the cam
to the 214/224 grind adding the Performer intake and going with a 650
or 600 carb? Maybe even a 50 or 75 shot?
