None taken...we all have our preferences. But the lights and bring, then
surrounded by
more 'bright'...with all that bright grille work. It was just too gawdy
for me in '98 and now.
In '78 when the car was built, I might have loved it....and for that
reason alone, I wouldn't
dare change it. :)

No offense...but I actually like the looks of the Jav with the
recangular lights. I would have thinned the bars in the grill or
modified the the stock one.

If I could buy that car, I wouldn't change anything..no matter how
much most of the changes annoy me. It's a rolling time capsule for
the type of custom work done at the time, and worthy of preservation
on that basis alone. Same goes for that gruesome but way cool black
humpster AMX with the rectangular lights that was listed several
times recently (seen here at the '98 Kenosha show I attended).

But Bart-meister is correct. Way too much reefer got passed around
the ol' Vo-Tech while building these wild rides! Ever seen 'Corvette
Summer'? THAT'S one truly horrid custom...and I wouldn't change a
thing!

I wanted to put square headlites on my 73 Jav since it looked kinda like what Mad Max drove and i wanted to leave the front grill and bumper off too to give it the Road Warrior post crash since i didn't know how to make a Arcadipane nose for it like what was on Maxs Aussie 1974 XB Ford Falcon.GT
