I have never used Krylon Fusion. I use SEM. The paint/dye made specifically for cars will work on either plastic, vinal or cloth depending on what cleaner and or prep you use. The headliner is not made of any kind of plastic so I would not use the Krylon on it. I just did the puke tan some kind of fabric material on a press board backing on the headliner on my Hornet and the grayish vinal visors I got from Lu with the SEM and they came out like factory. Good luck I would not chance a hard to replace headliner on an unknown product. "Doc" ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Get fast access to your favorite Yahoo! yes i do know that and krylon fusion (for plastic) will work on the dash and the headliner feels like the same material so it should work on that to----- Original Message -----From: AMC74HORNET@xxxxxxxxxSent: Friday, August 19, 2005 5:33 AMSubject: Re: [BaadAssGremlins] my 78 gremlinI just did what you described and more and it is a lot of work. You do
know you need to use special paint for the headliner and dash which is
not the same kind of paint you are using on the metal on the doors. I
removed my headliner to dye it and put Dynamat in the roof before
putting it back in.
