They fit great on any 68-70 AMX and Javelin also, and if one cuts off

Umm....that makes no sense. The 71-74 Javelin and AMX uses the 
same backlight (rear windshield) as the 68-70 variety. If it
Fits the early cars unaltered, it should fit the latter years 
exactly the same.
