Eddie, sorry to hear about your medical problems. Terry is right, doc can regulate the diabeties with pills (you probably have Type 2). I've had this for the last 13 years and it is managable. Don't go overboard on the 'diet' thing. Moderation will work. No 'junk' after 8 pm and some exercise (like a two mile walk) before retiring for the nite will work.  Doctor 'Mix'  here

Hi Lu, well I 'was" looking forward to the AMO show......until last 
Saturday. I have been having side pains for about two weeks so went to 
doctor and ran some tests. Not only have a uniary tract infection, but also 
a really good chance I have diabetes.
