it seams every thing i do to my current 401
  just wont make it go
faster,,, maybe my cam is too big? stall is too
  little? I cant drive?
my junkyard engine can only do so much. i would just
  like to get this
next one right. The car weighs 3280 with me in it.. my
  current 1/8
 mile
times are about 8.9 sometimes better if i let it sit
  awhile(too
 boring).

So if anyone wants to chime in or has a
  similair combo i wouldnt mind
 hearing times and opinions(desktop dyno
  combo) before i blow the
 other $3000

Rob,are you way up in thar hills as far as elevation?hows the cam dialed
in?and maybe going to a 4.10 gear will help you and you'll lose streetability
going with anything bigger than a 3K stall and does the carb feel like its
bogging any?where are you located and what has been your best e/t so far and
maybe we can help better. Bart
