 if your gonna use the torker only to break in the motor and not drive it 
then use the torker.But don't go driving as it will run never run right  as 
the torker is a mid range single plane intake that comes alive at about 3 -3500 
rpm. honestly dude,i'd look on ebay or around for a edelbrock performer intake 
as its a dual plane intake and works well with stock-mild motors and that way 
you could safely drive your gremlin until you have all your go fast goodies for
