Correct, this would change in 1978, and 79-80 with the Concord, then Spirit
AMX with the 6th digit of the VIN. Not so for 77. The decals are available
from Phoenix Graphics on my website's vendors list.

I also understand that there was nothing in the vin# to tell you if it
was an AMX either. So how would you tell a real one over a well done
clone? A targa bar, some flairs and a rear window louver and some
decals, emblems, interior trim and you would have a perfect clone.
