Paul, I don't have production numbers handy, but 2200 doesn't sound blatantly high or low. '83 was the final year for all 2WD AMCs (Spirit and Concord)- only Eagle continued in 1984. To further trim the model line, since the Spirit was dead, the SX/4, which shared the same liftback body, was killed with it. All that remained were Eagle sedans and wagons after 1983.
