Did the heavy hammering, God bless my neighbors,
gained the inch outside I needed plus the lip is hammered flat on the
top inside, inner fender also expanded at the top lay next to the
outer skin. bent a piece of 1/8"x1/4" steel to a 29" diameter and
welded it to the top of the now thined arch to regain the flat body
line for the perimeter of the fender opening. I got the caps and
fillers all fabricated and they are installed on the passenger side,
the front flair intersects at the door opening and dies into the
rocker panel. The rear fair is cut to match the upsweep of the rear
pan, The full fair swooping into the pointy butt of the gremlin is a
look you will see nowhere else. I turned 48 today, Euforia aside,I
feel it. Bruce J.
