I have my son's 74 Javelin in my garage that has a 258 6 cyl is on a V8
crossmember, but the car is burried under a ton of parts. The guy he
bought it from had a 74 AMX with a 304 on a 6 cyl crossmember but I
never saw what he did to mount it. He sold it a few years ago. He told
me he just made 2 adapter plates out of steel plate. He is a friend and
I see him every week almost for lunch so I could find out what he did if
you want?

Okay, found another Gremlin and am now interested in wether or not I
MUST have a V8 crossmember to drop in a 360ish engine. I thought
there was someone who knew how to use the six's member and save the
300$$$$$$$. There is another one for sale in town(Wichita Falls)
with a six in it, rough interior/exterior. If anyone interested I
could perhaps get some pics and try to contact the owner with an
offer as she won't give a starting price. If I remember right it is
a 73.
