Re: JL cars

Ya'll don't forget the two new JL offerings besides those Spider Man Rebel
Machine and Rambler wagon; a new 68 Javelin SST in Hunter Green is very
nice. What is different about this is that some of you are familiar with
'your car is the star' program by Playing Mantis (there is a direct link
under the "parts" file of my website) now JL is using the owner's name with
the car, which is sweet, forever immortalized!

One problem with the new 68 Javelin. Many of you, including myself like to
keep them in mint, original, blister pack. Well, if you open it, you usually
play with it, I know I have some of them on the dashes of several of my
AMCs, and also in my curio cabinets. But if you DON'T open this new 68
Javelin, you won't know if you won $10,000 or 2004 other prizes either so it
is a Catch 22 with the new car.

The other new offering is a sweet 72 AMX in white. I don't understand why
they didn't use a coin as in years past, that is part of the collecting
also. Still a good looking car.
The Spider Man Machine and Rambler can currently be found in many places
like Ames, K-Mart, Toyes R Us, Wal Mart, Hobby Lobby and many other places,
the new 72 AMX and 68 Javelin should be appearing in stores in a month or
so. Happy collecting,
Eddie Stakes
