A 304 crank will work. They are exactally the same. But I would definitly not try to get the parts from a junk yard. You should wait to see if you need pistons. If a bore and new pistons are in order then you should get a master rebuild kit from Mad Dog racing in FL. They have them listed on Ebay. Make sure you get Clevite 77 Bearings. If you only nee a hone and new rings then just get a crank kit and rings. Your machinist will tell you exactally what you need.

Hey, Lu, Good job I knew you could do it! I see you got the balancer
off! Hope to see you tomorrow! Now comes the messy part, CLEANING up
all the bolts and parts. We need to check on another crank and a
couple of rods. I know of the yard has some 304's. I believe the
crank and rods are the same, I will do some checking.--- In
