Re: [BaadAssGremlins] Re: It's The Big One!!! Dash Help Needed

Well, Doc, the package is on the way. I ended up using three boxes to make one. You will have plenty of Styrofoam packing too. The radio delete plate is in a separate box. I placed it in the glove box section of thedash. You will need to make a minor repair to the dash just above thearch where the steering column fits. With your talents, it should be a simple repair. I'm not sure if all the screw clips are there either.I may have robbed a couple for my dash. If your dash is complete, it shouldn't be a problem. Someday you will have to send me a photo of the completed dash once it's installed. I especially want to see how the tach installation looks.

According to the woman at FedEx it should be there around Tuesday. Letme know if it arrives okay. It is the first time I've used FedEx to ship apackage.

Looks like we will have temps in the 70's this weekend. The best part is that Saturday and Sunday will be without rain. Finally, I can spend time in the garage. First thing I'll have to do is clean things up soI can at least get to the Gremlin. I also need to get to a 360 engine under my workbench. It will go to a coworker so he can rebuild it for his '84 Jeep pickup. He really wants a 401, but we all know how scarce those babies are. I keep telling him the 360 will give him all the power he needs.

I saw an ad in a magazine for the new Edlebrock aluminum heads and shorty headers. It looks like they used a set of free flow exhaust manifolds for a jig to fabricate the headers. I would like a set of the heads, but at $765 each, they are out of my price range.

Hope everyone has a good AMC day..........

Rick
