                Thanks Armand, I will keep that in mind, fo I am sure I will need a rebuild, but prolly no high prformance stuff for the Pacer as you said. OR Maybe! LOL

Neat thing about the 998 is it has aftermarket support for high performance pieces. You may not want them for the Pacer,
but it's nice to know they're available. Remember it's a Chrysler trans.

The 998 is a heavy duty version of the 904. It's as good as any other tranny of
it's size. Both the 904 and 998 will occasionally crack/break the converter
neck. I've dealt with 2 and have seen a few more at the wreckers.
