It was seized to the case and they said it took a whole day to get it out. snip I know about that pin too. There's a special Kent-Moore tool (essentially a heavy small c-clamp) which is used to push out that tapered pin. I was able to buy that tool from a guy on the AMC Forum and I still could not get the pin out. I took a chance and installed the tranny after having only replaced the front and rear seals and changing the oil and filter. The shift shaft seals to not leak on the car so I won that bet, but my front seal (or something on the tranny is leaking pretty bad so I will plan to pull the tranny in the next few weeks and might swap it out for another T-35 I have in reserve.
