Unless it checks good for wear AND flatness (which is seldom true) I ALWAYS resurface the flywheel. Why wouldn't you spend the $30 or so (depending where you live) to KNOW it's good?? Even if it LOOKS Ok it can be cupped resulting in uneven wear and shorter disc life. IMHO you're not doing a complete job unless you do. You should SEE how BAD some of the flywheels I grind are!!!
