Re: [AMC-list] Need Borg Warner T-35 Automatic Transmission for 1970 AMC HORNET 232

Westminster, as Joe points out does good work, and i've had good luck with
The Transmission Shop, San Fernando Blvd, Glendale CA too. (Terrible name to
google up). I think I paid $1200, drive in drive out a week later.

I do have a rebuildable 1970 T35 that was behind a 232. It has about 90,000
miles on it and it's been out of a car for 4 years now, so I wouldn't stick
it in a car as-is, but it had no serious problems when pulled (it had been
stuffed into a '72 hornet, into which I put a rebuilt 258 and a rebuilt
Torqueflite into). If you need a rebuildable core let me know, yours cheap.
With torque converter, dipstick etc. I'm in Los Angeles near Glendale.
