... and AMC hub-center sizes vary, with 9" drum, 10" drum and disc, over the
years. 9x2's and 9x2.5's are different too. It's another one of those areas
that you simply cannot formulate a fixed answer and buy sight-unseen.

Personally, I find junk (used) wheels a complete and utter waste of time on
a car to be kept long term. They are universally bent, dented, rusted, etc.
$60 each for new steelies from WheelVintiques. Never leak (not even 1PSI a
year). Constant inflation means no sidewall heating or stress and long tire
life (there's your RM reason to buy new wheels :-). They look better.

THey do NOT take AMC wheel covers. There are occasional fitment issues with
some drums/hubs (mainly the 9x2.5's odd drum shoulder). But if you don't
care about resto it's the way to go.
