Re: [AMC-list] Patrick Foster to Attend Greenmead

That explains his recent order of a batch of my "AMC Numbers Guide" books! Getting ready for the show.

I've talked with Pat a number of times and have several of his books. A few I consider "required reading" for all AMC fans, especially his AMC history book "The Last Independent". "AMC Cars 1954-87, An Illustrated History" and "The Story of Jeep" are the other two must haves. The two history books are good companions -- the first one has a lot more text, the second fills in all the illustration gaps of the first. The Jeep book covers from the first Bantam concept through about 2000, with a lot of AMC related content that many of us wouldn't know about. He has a few others, like "The Metropolitan Story" (those are sold out, but I have an extra copy), that are good reading too.

This just in - Patrick Foster, author of authoritative books on AMC Cars and
history, will be attending our event this year.
That's right, Patrick Foster will be at the Great Lakes Classic AMC Club

MI, this Sunday, August 16, 2009 to sell and autograph copies of his books.

If you need maps or directions to our event visit the Great Lakes Classic
