true for ford, but amc never used them.  amc did use the same ign box
and trigger.

only later ds2 afaik; earlier ds2 used a high voltage can coil.  amc
used a conventional points-like coil.

there supposedly is a tfi coil for a particular model ford which has a
bracket you can bolt to the engine.  tfi coils differ by mounting for
every car they came in, even if they're electrically the same.

nitpicking, i would say that tfi was a subset of ds2.
