Re: [Amc-list] Concord Engine Question - 4.0 EFi Six

sticks and stone Bri, sticks and stones.

Since I was not exactly asking you.
It's not that I don't trust you or anything, your completed projects speak for themselves afterall.

I thought maybe Jim would tell me exactly what/where the block broke. I've never heard of the blocks actually breaking.
Seems I would like to know about it. Yes, I would actually LIKE TO KNOW!!!
If you have ANYTHING actually constructive how about sharing it?
Instead of spouting out useless bulls**t and wisecracks. How about something worth a d**n!

ANYTHING would be nice. All you do is type out cryptic impossible to follow half facts.

I thought this was supposed to be a list where we could discuss this stuff.
Silly me. You seem to think this place is what? A JOKE?
Some of us treat this stuff seriously, we also enjoy it, or did.
Some of us like to help people or at least try.

Is there not at least a guideline we can follow as to when someone crosses the line?
I do not recall it being "polite" to tell someone his car is what? Built with crap? The block he used is going to crack!
Put a turbo on it!

Exactly what planet did you come from where this is even remotely considered polite?
Please, forgive me but you have pretty much told me I built a car I have been driving for 10 years with crap parts and it will die soon.

Forgive me but if that does not cross a line, then WTF does. exactly who died and left you in charge here?

OMG indeed.

Or rather, WTF would be more apt.

What where these 93 blocks in?

Could you tell what caused the condition?

Covered with rust stains from blown antifreeze etc,?

I could Type OMG, too, but I'd prefer to hear about the actual facts surrounding this...

Every 4.0L failure I have seen has been caused by, lack of maintenance, overheat, or cracked head on 0331 heads when they first came out.

The junkyard is not the best place to determine what makes a bad engine.
That's kind of why we call them junkyards!

*Honest ?

Didn't you just post previously:

"Block design? More worthless info for a daily driver."

"None of these engines has actual problems related from block design changes."~m.price

 :]

Here's the Dilly !Yo - it's a repeat it so read for Content this time:

The '91-'95 Blocks Flexed - because Chrysler had stripped out
casting material in the Mains & Wall bracing.

The Block Failures led to them installing a moos y Main Stud Girdle - and to their adding casting material right up to the final NVH blocks casting runs.

Don't worry Mark -

Your '91 is the First Year of Crap engine Blocks.

The Foundry Molds were Really Really Fresh.

Now...

What about that Turboing your '91 4.0 maybe plan you'd spoken about
previously ?

Ready to get Cracking ?

OH~~!
