In fact Mazda offered a Miller Engine years ago,,, http://wardsautoworld.com/ar/auto_mazda_millercycle_dohc/ I think the current "variable valve timing" engines being offered are state of the art as it exists today. They are NOT cheap to build OR service!! I currently charge "about" $300 for a valve job on a VVT 4cyl 16 valve head (depending on Mfg). But HEY,,, that's just ME!
