Re: [Amc-list] Shipping a "roller" to Canada

They will charge him "market value" at the border for taxes (Provincial and Federal) and good luck trying to find a border broker to handle it for less than $1,000! I GAVE my son an FSJ and they wanted over $2K in fees! (this was for my '73 J4000 before I rolled it) Make sure the shipping company doesn't try to jack you for drop shipping to terminal (an added $$$ fee)

Does anyone have any experience with shipping a non-running car and parts across the border to Canada? I have a pretty good offer on my 1970 Mark Donohue Javelin and I want to know what type of complications there would be in shipping it to London Ontario from California.
