There are sites with calculators to figure injector size, but all I know of assume one injector per cylinder. Luckily all the GM TBI injectors interchange, so you could go shoppingat a salvage yard and get an assortment from smaller engines. I bet 2.8L V-6 injectors would be close, as the 2.8L revs a lot higher than the 232. Of course the 231 cid/3800 cc V-6 is roughly the same displacement. 

Do check the fuel pressure first as Mark suggested. Pressure is much lower than MPI setups. MyHaynes manual for 82-96 GM A-body cars (Pontiac 6000, Chevy Celebrity, etc.) says the TBI fuel pressure should be in the 9-13 psi range. It only shows 1V TBIs as used on the 2.5L though. There are two different types, so look at yours closely before looking for injectors. The pre 87 model has the injector held in by two screws, 87+ have an injector that looks like a  single multi point injector with a little clip holding it in, similar to a distro or speedo cable ghold down. The late injector has a plug in wire on top at a 90 degree angle to the injector. The early one has two pins on top. Can't tell from the diagram, but probably two push on terminals (could be screw on though).

That fixed, it ran really badly. Too rich. I unflooded it, then on a 
lark popped the connector off one of the injectors... ran pretty good!

It's definitely in closed-loop, it drives OK with one injector down the 
street and back. With two, it chugs, loads up, the CHECK ENGINE light 
comes on... either injector works, not both.

It's definitely in closed-loop, I can see and hear the pulsewidth change 
when I fiddle one, two injectors, rev it up, etc.

I hope I can figure out how to pick size-smaller injectors. This is a 
232, not a 258...

Anyone foll with TBI systems?
