I'd think har dand look long for the right pistons first.
Thos rods are forgings.
Nice and long too.
The pistons, well, there's always custom forgings for $600-700 +-
As others have pointed you too places to lacate pistons I wont clutter up that area.
The only times thos engines break are due to head gaskets and lack of maintenance.
A thoughfully rebuilt one done right will last a very long time!
If the bores don't clean up at the needed size for available pistons I'd then investigate the costs comparing 
custm forged pistons to sleeves or getting a solid ready to run block.
I can attest to the knowledge that those things where over bored in excess of .100" back in the day!
Since it does not breather real well anyway bigger bores would probably be the way to go if you can stomache the piston costs.
  Be a fun build and true to the car...anyway you go.
