trucks and jeeps.  there are a hundred variations of input shaft
length and spline and even bolt pettern, not to mention 2wd/4wd.
they were even used in 2.5t trucks.

it's possible that one of the patterns on the ~'75-up multipattern
bell is a t18/t19, but in a car you'd be on your own for a tranny
mount and driveshaft - not to mention tunnel clearance, though it's
probably not bigger than an automatic.  and that shifter...
