Mark; in my 65 440 I run the 20 from a Scrambler (the Jeep place provided one piece axles) but in my 330 wagon I still have the 15 open.
I have tossed around the idea of a Toyota 4x2 axle, a 9" or some sort or a Chryco. The 8" interests me as they are dirt cheap out here. Try $25 at the last swap meet from a Grabber parts car.
What year Mav works and what is the aftermarket support for the 8". I looked into the Toy rear end as the Jeep mag said it is the most underrated rear out there. The 9" is well known but as spendy as a big city trollup. Good posi 20s for the American are hard to find out here as there are too many Jeeps.....Russ
