Re: [Amc-list] I can help, anyone with a big truck? Re: I NEED SOME HELP! Got a car in FortWorth which I can't...UPDATE!!!

Thank You.
At the moment, I'm working on having a friend make a Texas run to collect
this car (he is the guy who was going to 'receive' it in tennesee). If I
have to give up some gold to move this, I'd prefer it go to someone who
isn't *missing word* me.)
So right now...this is where the 'deal' is headed...but time is of essence.
Further...a 6 cylinder can do this...with a stiff hitch. This car can be
flat towed with a stiff hitch (Towbar). It would just require good tires.
This guy is a JERK to the max and at the moment I cannot even bring myself
to Email him.
One question, however..
Austin...where is that in relation to ForthWorth (which is thus in relation
to 'a trip from Tennesee')?
Thank you again for your help and offer...I have not declined it, and I
certainly will keep you appraised of the movement.

Oh, one more thing gang...SAME PROBLEM with the '62 in Lottsburg, VA.
I am now in Vermont doing my 'doctor thing' (Chronic problems are a REAL
Drag; my neck has become the new 'back'...when the doctors told me be
thankful for today, it's the best day you will have (because I have a
degenerative disease), little did I guess (now, why NOT??) that 'worse'
would mean not only more 'ouchey' in my back, but it will spread to new
places and become more ouchey there! DUH!!) Anyway, I'm held up in Vermont
awaiting a docs appointment whilst my Ramblers are all over the dammed USA
waiting for my butt to 'get well' (GET WELL?? Degenerative disease?? Get
REAL Jerijan!). So anyway, today the guy with the '62 calls me up and tells
me I have one more week to move it (it's been over two months now, and he is
right. I SHOULD have moved it (although I simply could not do so). So I'm
getting the double whammy. If there is any Virginian who can handle the '62
same as the Texas thing, let me know.
I am considering walking away from the medical mess (because, frankly, I'm
pretty dammed tired of it, it sucks, and it sure has gotton old). Only
problem? Hahahahahaha! I know I don't have to explain why that is NOT a
good idea, do I?

Anyway, gang, I am extremely appreciative of anything and everything anyone
can do here to help me out. And naturally, if the tables were reversed, I
can be counted on to assist.

Lastly...the regulator from the '67. Found two. Ready for the
gold-exchange rate? Both are in excess of $60!!! This was a $12 part last
I knew (OK, so that was in the last century (literally)). Tell me that's
not a surprise! See what happens when you become way too dependant on
'parts cars'???

Party on, folks...and thanks again...

Jj

Hi Jerijan,

I can help you out, I have an 18ft car trailer and I am in Austin, and I
can store it with my other Ramblers.

My truck is a V-6 so it will be painful to tow...
ANYONE ON THE LIST live near Austin/Fort Worth with a V-8 truck (and
electric brake package) that could actually do the pulling?
