If your trying to keep costs down I got an 82 T4 that has a 4-1 first gear and 1-1 fourth...
Otherwise it is the same as a Ford T5 and everything bolts right up , uses a Camaro or S-10 shifter and 904 yoke and speedo drive.
  Light weight and plenty strong enough for behind a 196.
