Re: [Amc-list] A front suspension idea!

You know you guys are correct about the squeak and groan of urethane front
end parts, I had to finally decide that I wasn't going to smear lube all
over everywhere to lose the groan, I did try small dabs here and there but
the groan keeps coming back. I then decided that I would wear my groan as a
badge of honor fit for a fine gentleman such as John Elle who helped me find
a very easy and very workable solution to me keeping my 70 Javelin on the
road and safe to drive. Thanks again John for the help with the spring perch
solution.

Armand

P.S. I think I get more racket coming from my Bendix disc conversion than
the urethane parts. I also think just about all that noise will go away when
I finally get some real tires (radials) on the car. The Javelin seems to be
very stiffly sprung and some of the give starts in the sidewall of a
radial...
