Not all Jeepsters were 2wd and don't forget the Comanche was made till '91 
(killed so they could promote the Dakota, which was almost identical to the 
MJ in '87 including shared tail lights and box)

You make a good point. You forgot to include the fact that the
Jeepster was a 2WD car. Not a truck. Not tough. Not 4x4. Jeep
making
other vehicles is nothing new.

I think what irritates us is not producing a full line of useful
vehicles like those that helped build the Jeep name. Including a
small off road vehicle and a tough pickup.
