My only comment is I wonder if this relys on Analog cell service?
I read a report recently that said OnStar does and sometime in the next few years they will start running into trouble as analog service towers become obsolete they are being replaced with digital only towers.
  I'm not saying don't buy it. It may work forever I'm just wondering out loud.

I've thought about getting something similar to track my 17 year old son when he is in our car!!!
