Well, I found out that NAPA steered me wrong on the brake drums. Tried to 
fit the drum on my car and the center hole is about 7/16 inch bigger in 
diameter than the original, and the depth is deeper by 5/32 so it would rub 
on the backing plate. So scrub the  UP64-1074  NAPA drum for the rear of a 
66 American.

More research to come....
