On my 1970 Hornet I used

Hornet
Heater valve
NAPA 660-1271
5/8” inline, push cable=OPEN, w/no mounting bracket


























































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































It doesn't mount on the firewall, just dangles from the hose. That part
number is PUSH=OPEN, there's another item next to it in the catalog that
is PUSH=CLOSED, one of those will work.

The valve doesn't *have to* live in the fiberglas housing if it's not an
OEM replacement.
