Nice find! If you just want a temporary valve go to NAPA and get one that fits in-line in the heater hose. I don't have a number, but that's what I use in my car. I got rid of the thermostatic thing altogether. It was leaky, even the replacement valve I bought when you could get them a few years back leaked. The in-line one doesn't. If the local NAPA still has a paper catalog, or they have pics of hte valves on-line, it's easy to find. That's a torque tube car, but they rarely cause trouble. The trans crossmember and engine mounts should be replaced soon though. They take a lot of abuse from the drivetrain. -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Motors Cars" Magazine (AMC) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AMC.html (free download available!) _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
